Showing 1–12 of 23 results

Ancestor of the domestic sheep, the Mouflon is, in spite of a rather stocky body, but with an elegant allure.
Males weigh 35 to 50 kg and measure 75 to 80 cm at the withers. The females are lighter, 25-40 kg. The males have a long, spiral horns that grow all year round.
In females, horns are present or not depending on the populations. In both sexes there is a white facial mask whose extent varies with age. The coat is short and dense with the exception of the jabot of the males. Chocolate brown in winter, it clears in summer. In general, a white stool appears in winter on the males.
The rut takes place between October and December. The female gives birth to a lamb, exceptionally two, in the spring, between March and May.
